The First of the Surveys will be going out this afternoon

The first of our surveys will be going out later this afternoon followed by the rest of them later in the evening. This is what Backerkit calls a smoke test and we want to make certain that all pledge levels are getting their options and add-ons from the Kickstarter Beta test correctly. This had to be set up with the Backerkit support and Kickstarter Add-Ons put in manually on their end.
In your surveys you will have the options to select your Age Book (if your pledge level had this option) and any add-ons should be listed with your pledge after answering a couple survey questions. If you have an Age book of your choice both physical and digital, you are not required to select the same age.
Add-Ons from the Kickstarter will also be available and a Backerkit Pre-Order store will be up and running with Kickstarter prices for anything you want to add-on. I will have the link for it in the next update here.
Thank you for your patience in the delay as we were planning on having these surveys out last weekend, but with the holiday and new functions being used to give the Kickstarter event all the options to build your pledge, there were a few hiccups.
Any stretch goals we made are included in your pledges and any not reached are included as Add-Ons now in Backerkit. So keep an eye out this afternoon and evening for your survey and to lock down your order and shipping. If you do not see it by Friday Morning make certain to check junk mail, spam folders in your emails.

Its 2021! Happy New Year with an Update

Its a whole new year to look forward to and we are hard at work already to move forward with the Revelations and Exodus books. There are a couple updates I wanted to get out.
First up is Backerkit surveys. While we have everything set up there was one minor issue that is taking some back and forth with Backerkit to get resolved before the surveys can be sent out. The downside is that Backerkit employees are out until Monday (the 4th), which is why you are not receiving your surveys today. Its a minor issue and so expect surveys coming out later this week. I will keep you updated. I imagine they will be swamped taking the last several days off.
In the Backerkit you will get your choices of Age Books depending upon your pledge levels and the pledge levels getting free items are already linked up with your pledges. There will be a couple options as well that will be in there, including new Add-Ons that we did not quite reach during the Kickstarter Event, like the Age Expansions and Campaigns.
We are keeping all the Kickstarter prices going for you through backerkit and pre-orders. This way supporters here will still have the options to get templates, the campaigns, faction packs etc for the Kickstarter discounted prices.
Other news is that we have updated the Core Rules FAQ to v1.2 and put out the FAQ/Erratas for the Birth of Genesys. They are on the website to download www.genesysgames.com. The updates include mostly what you would expect + a little bit of game balance errata based on responses and feedback.

Happy Holidays! and What's On the Horizon

As it is now Christmas eve here I know some of you are very much approaching Christmas Day in some parts of the world. I wanted to wish everyone a great Christmas and hope for a very safe and fun holiday as we approach the new year.
We are very excited here and are looking forward to the new year and getting Revelations and Exodus out to everyone that has supported us during the Kickstarter event. We wanted to let you know that we are already hard at work moving forward and have Backerkit already loaded up. There is still a little more to be done there, but we plan on rolling it out the first couple days of the new year. Some of you might get the surveys just before or on the 1st as we send out a small number of test surveys- this is normal method of operations.
As we settle in for Christmas you can expect that next week we will be releasing two new items to the Genesys Games site that will be downloadable for everyone which are available at www.genesysgames.com on the "FAQ and Downloads" page. These are free downloads.
- The Birth of Genesys Faction Building Overview: for people that are new to the game and just starting to create factions. This is a companion guide that goes alongside The Gameplay Core Rules Overview. These are introductions into the concepts and methods that each Domain builds there factions and classes from.
- The Birth of Genesys 1st Age FAQ and Errata: This will contain updates, a couple minor balance adjustments, and a FAQ that will take on the most common questions in the book. This will become a living document and we will take on and update every so often.

Thank you to everyone that joined in on our second Kickstarter Event! It was, as always is in Kickstarter a wild ride and your awesome support will take us through the steps needed to bring Revelations and Exodus to life. The 2nd and 3rd of the game is just so much fun and myself being rather impatient cannot wait to get the books into your hands!
Our next step of course will be to move on to Backerkit, where we will be preparing to send out surveys in the next week or two so you will be able to lock in your orders. In the meantime we will be making certain that we keep you apprised of what is happening with our progress with updates here through Kickstarter.

Final Couple Hours are here. Another Stretch Goal Acheived!

We are in the final hours of the campaign. Its great to see the support for the project, and during these final hours I hope everyone gets the chance to get jump in!
We have reached the next stretch goal in the campaign! The New Worlds faction pack for the 3rd Age was just overcome. So glad we are getting to this one and again thank you for your support of the project. We will be talking again later today about the next steps once the campaign closes.
